Recent changes in locations:

Added: Transylvania/Brevard Athletic Center for new outdoor courts. I need info if/when indoor courts are available for play there. Please send indoor info to me. debrofl@aol.com

Added: Hendersonville Racquet Club outdoor courts (with indoor rental option).

Updated: Linwood Crump SHILOH Center. and Stephens-Lee Center based on information from Asheville Parks and Recreation for these indoor locations.

Updated: Henderson County Athletic Center gym indoor play.

General Alert and Recommendations:

Please be courteous to all others at courts (pickleball, tennis, or any others).

Please ask others if they want “coached” before sharing tips and feedback.

Clean up after yourselves at the end of play.

Balance skill level play and inclusiveness.

*Paying it Forward: Higher skilled players partnering with/playing against new and developing players are appreciated.

*Playing Up: Developing players need to hit to higher skill opponents when playing up. Give them a reason to be on court against you.

Signing up for larger sessions implies you are wanting to mix games within the large group. If you do not want to mix, please create your own small session. 

More players may be creating smaller closed group sessions based on personal degree of caution.

Please be respectful.

Most public outdoor courts state “first come, first serve.” You are not required to allow others to rotate into your session. You are not required to rotate off your court just because other sessions are rotating.

Familiarize yourself with the rules for your public venue(s) and/or private locations.

City of Asheville only suggests "limiting play to one hour when others are waiting.” More time (2 hours) should be allowed for larger groups rotating into games.

Henderson County court signage states “limit play to one hour when others are waiting.”
