Pickleball in Sandpoint, ID

We have an official policy from the Director of Sandpoint Park and Rec as to the use the Lakeview/Memorial Courts and its activities going forward:

"Officially, pickle courts may not be reserved other than for City sanctioned events / leagues.  If someone is playing basketball they are not to be displaced.  Same story with the unofficial online court schedule stuff happening currently as it seems to be working (as in – no complaints to me yet) but …. All need to understand that if someone, not on the “schedule” is playing basketball or pickle on the courts they are not to be kicked-off.  They are public courts with first-come, first served.  If demand dictates we can have a time limit for play per court but we’re not there yet."

This comes directly from City policy so any questions need to be directed to Sandpoint Park and Recreation.  It also means there will be no private or invite only sessions posted on Playtime at Lakeview unless you have a city event permit.  You may post a session anytime to be public but it will be first come first served.  Private and invite only sessions with no names will be removed as it is against City Policy.  You may use these on private courts with permission of those courts in particular.
